The New-Brunswick Economic and Social Inclusion Corporation (ESIC) was mandated to identify poverty reduction and social inclusion needs in New Brunswick. Public consultations in communities across the province identified the impending need for affordable and accessible transportation. This led to the creation of community transportation services in different regions of the province.
These services are made possible through the cooperation of many partners in the regions, but especially due to the many hours invested in the service by volunteer drivers. Many New-Brunswicker’s are currently service users benefiting from the variety of services offered by those non-profit organizations.
