Brittany Schuler is a Canadian visual artist of settler ancestry whose paintings flourish from foliage studies of the forest regions that surround her. She is also interested in how the historical “picturesque” intersects with our current day environment.

Her work has been shown in exhibitions in Atlantic Canada and in Eastern France.  Alongside her practice, Schuler has taught art through various organizations including Bridges of Canada, the Estey Art Initiative and the Beaverbrook Art Gallery. She has completed residencies through ArtslinkNB and the city of Fredericton. She is also a recipient of grant funding through the generosity of ArtsNB and of Canada Council for the Arts.

Brittany has a B.A. in French Studies and Fine Arts from Mount Allison University (2011), a BEd from Saint Thomas University (2013), and a Post-Baccalaureate in painting from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design (2022).
