Effective April 1, 2012, as part of the Government’s renewal initiative aimed at administrative cost recovery, a fee applies to the issuance of Statements of Account drawn from historical data (beyond 5 years) on property tax accounts. Statements of Account may be issued to the assessed property owner(s)* or to a third party who has obtained a signed Letter of Consent from the assessed owner for release of the information.
Note: Must have been assessed owner(s) for the year(s) in which information is requested.
Fee structure for statements covering historical data from:
| 1 month to 5 years | $0.00 |
| 6 to 7 years (less than 1 hour of historical data recovery) | $25.00 |
| 8 to 9 years (1 to 2 hours of historical data recovery) | $50.00 |
| 10 years or more (more than 2 hours of historical data recovery) | $100.00 |
A single requisition form may be used to request statements of account relating to multiple accounts; however a fee applies to statements produced on each individual account.

A Statement of Account Requisition form must be completed and submitted by mail to the Department of Finance, Tax Accounting, Refunds and Financial Analysis, P.O. Box 3000, Fredericton, N.B., E3B 5G5. Applications must be accompanied by the applicable fee and, if necessary, a letter of consent. Please allow 2 weeks for processing from the date the completed application and fee are received by the Department of Finance.
