This respiratory illness season, updated vaccines for both COVID-19 and influenza (flu) will be available for all New Brunswickers aged six months and older. Public Health strongly recommends both vaccines for those who are at high risk of complications from these infections. Vaccination appointments can be booked now, either online or by contacting a participating community pharmacy. Immunizations will begin on Oct. 15.
Some New Brunswickers are also eligible for the single-dose pneumococcal vaccine if they have not done so previously.
Individuals are encouraged to receive these vaccines during their same appointment with an immunizer.
