Water Well Contractor Permit
Ensuring that water wells are constructed in a manner that does not compromise water quality and the environment is a critical component to providing safe potable water to the citizens of New Brunswick. To this end, contractors offering water well construction and development services in the Province must obtain a permit each year from this Department.
Water Well Contractors
A permit is issued to all qualified Water Well Contractors on an annual basis (Water Well Regulation (90-79) - Clean Water Act). The permit allows water well contractors to engage water well drillers to construct wells. Department staff provide permit administration services and regulatory audits.
Licence renewal application forms are sent to contractors on an annual basis and can be obtained from this Department.
Unless otherwise specified, Fees exclude the harmonized sales tax (HST).
