A Certificate of Competency authorizes the holder to carry out boiler inspections.


A Certificate of Competency is required to carry out boiler inspections as an employee of an insurance company which is licensed to transact boiler and machinery insurance under the provisions of the Insurance Act.


A Certificate of Competency is issued by the Chief Boiler Inspector on completion of application and payment of fee.
