If you are unable to visit a library and love to read, Books by Mail allows you to borrow books, magazines, audiobooks, music, and movies by mail.


Any New Brunswick resident who is unable to access a public library for any reason. This also includes those who are in a care facility or retirement home. Contact the public library nearest you for more information.


If you already have a library card, then you are ready to receive books by mail service. If you do not have a library card, please contact your public library or register for a card online. Materials are mailed to you free via Canada Post in a sealed, postage-paid library mailing bag. You can borrow books, audiobooks, magazines, DVDs and CDs.
