Books-by-Mail Service - Public Libraries
The Books-by-Mail (BBM) service offers a library book lending service to people who are unable to visit a public library due to geographical or physical limitations. This free service is offered remotely by mail.
The service is free and is available to New Brunswick public library cardholders who are unable to visit a library due to geographical or physical limitations.
The Books-by-Mail service sends library books by mail to people who are unable to visit a library. Patrons select their reading preferences at the time of registration and an employee selects books based on those preferences. Users can also request specific titles.
Books-by-Mail patrons can borrow a maximum of 50 items at a time with a loan period of four weeks, with one renewal. When the loan period has expired, users mail the books or other items back to the BBM office, free of charge.
This service is made possible thanks to Canada Post’s Library Materials Service. For more information, call 1-888-759-3535 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
