Book Publishing (Periodicals) – Operations Grant

Overview
The program provides grants to assist in covering some of the operations and projects costs to produce and present periodicals that foster an appreciation of literature and the arts in New Brunswick.
Eligibility
For-profit businesses whose principal activity is arts periodical publishing and that operate as a Canadian company held and controlled by New Brunswick residents.
Note: In exceptional cases, periodicals that are published in other provinces of the Atlantic region and that are of a regional scope are eligible for assistance.

Description
This program is intended to support the publication of literary, performing and visual arts periodicals that serve as outlets for the writers of fiction, poetry, drama and literary criticism or that report on the visual or performing arts in New Brunswick.
Level of Funding:
The grant is based on the previous year’s grant and on the strength and merit of the application.
Application process:
Applications must be submitted by May 1st of the request year.
