The Voices of New Brunswick Women Consensus-Building Forum has launched a call for organizations and individuals to submit expressions of interest in joining its membership. The Forum is currently seeking 5 members. New Forum members will be appointed to 3 year terms by the Minister responsible for Women’s Equality.

The Voices of New Brunswick Women Consensus Building Forum is mandated to provide independent advice to the provincial government on matters of interest to women while bringing issues to public attention in order to work towards a future where the women and men of New Brunswick are equal. 

The Forum consists of 12-20 organizations and individuals mandated and/or interested in working on matters of interest to women and serving in a volunteer capacity. The composition of the Forum’s membership must reflect: various regions of the province, its English and French linguistic duality, and diverse representation that includes voices from identities, experiences, and communities often underrepresented at decision-making tables. Representatives for organizations and individual members must be women (includes trans and cis gender women).

Deadline for Submission : 12 February 2016
