In the November 2012 Speech from the Throne, the Government of New Brunswick committed to enhancing the province’s population growth efforts and developing a strategy focused on attracting more Francophone immigrants to New Brunswick.
As a result, the Department of Post-Secondary Education, Training and Labour is encouraging stakeholders and New Brunswickers to provide feedback on its upcoming five-year population growth strategy.
To gather feedback, the department’s Population Growth Division is launching a discussion paper that touches on several areas, including:
- Immigration & Settlement;
- Diversity and Welcoming Communities;
- Repatriation & Attraction;
- Outmigration; and
- Training & Developing the New Brunswick-based workforce.
