The NBLGC is a crown corporation responsible for developing, organizing, conducting and managing provincial lottery and gaming activities on behalf of the Province.

The NBLGC is

• responsible for managing service provider agreements with private third parties for the operation of casinos in the province
• the Province’s shareholder in the Atlantic Lottery Corporation (ALC), which operates ticket lottery, video lottery program and online gaming on behalf of the NBLGC , and
• responsible for the development and implementation of the Province’s responsible gaming policy
