The WATCM states that Dedicated Traffic Observers, Device Installers and other workers are required to attend a WATCM awareness session as approved by the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure’s Maintenance and Traffic Branch.

Employers are requested to ensure that staff who perform the WATCM functions of Dedicated Traffic Observers, Device Installers and other workers, review this material and document that it has been done.
