Overview
The program provides grants to assist in covering some of the costs of publications featuring Aboriginal art, language, themes of interest, history or stories.
Eligibility
Publishers who qualify / have qualified for an operational grant under the Book and Publishing Development Program offered by this Department.

Description
There are 3 areas that the initiative is intended to serve:
• To support Aboriginal authors/scholars by providing publishers with financial incentives to publish works that feature Aboriginal themes, culture, art, language, history or stories
• To improve / increase the number of Aboriginal books in the province;
• To further Aboriginal cultural and literary development.
Application process:
Applications must be submitted before February 15th of the current fiscal year.
