Elite, a Thomson Reuters business, creates 25 new ICT jobs in Moncton05 June 2012
MONCTON (GNB) – Elite, a Thomson Reuters business, is expanding its workforce in Moncton creating 25 new full-time jobs.
Premier David Alward and Patrick Langlais, director of Data Transformation for Elite, made the announcement today in Moncton.
"Investing in the information and communications technology industry is one of the six areas of focus for our government to drive economic progress in New Brunswick," said Alward. "We are continuing to build momentum in our provincial knowledge and innovation economy."
"We are very pleased to partner with Invest New Brunswick to expand our presence in Moncton," said Langlais. "The Moncton office has built world class software, provided excellent customer service, and delivered strong financial performance for Elite, so it is with great enthusiasm that we expand this successful operation."
The investment will contribute $1.3 million annually to the province's gross domestic product. Invest NB is providing $495,000 in financial assistance to the company through payroll rebates.
