Request your public library card by completing the form available online. Your library card will be mailed to the address you supply. Your library card can be used in more than 60 service points (libraries and bookmobiles) across New Brunswick.

The card is free for New Brunswick residents and landowners. You will need to provide a piece of identification and proof of local address the first time you use your card at the library or bookmobile. The signature of a parent or a guardian is necessary for children under 13.

The card gives you access to a large quantity of information: books, electronic resources, music, services and programs with one library card and one provincial catalogue which greatly enhances the sharing of resources between libraries.

Please note that the electronic registration service is only available to residents of the province of New Brunswick. Landowners must request a card in person at the library or bookmobile.

Lost or stolen cards must be replaced at your local library or bookmobile.

If you are visiting New Brunswick, you can obtain a visitor card for a non-refundable annual fee of $20. You must apply for a visitor card in person at any public library or bookmobile. Bring in one piece of identification and proof of local address.
