Elevating Device Installation Permit

Overview
An installation permit authorizes the holder to install elevating devices.
Eligibility
Installation permits are issued to New Brunswick licensed Elevator Contractors.
Upon approval and registration of drawings and specifications an installation permit will be issued to an elevator contractor.
All new or altered elevating devices must be inspected before going into service.
Description
An elevating device installation permit must be obtained before any work is carried out on an elevating device.
