Overview
A Boiler and Pressure Vessel Installation Permit authorizes the holder to install, alter or make additions to boilers, pressure vessels and pressure piping systems.
Eligibility
An Installation Permit is required to install or modify boilers, pressure vessels or pressure piping systems.
Installation Permits for boilers, pressure vessels or pressure piping systems are only issued to qualified persons having registered QA/QC plans.
All Boiler and Pressure Vessels must be inspected before going into service.
Description
Installation permits are issued by the Chief Boiler Inspector upon the submission of the completed application and payment of the applicable fee.
