Improved financial programs for fisheries, aquaculture

The provincial government has introduced amendments to regulations under the Fisheries and Aquaculture Development Act that will improve the access to, and administration of the financial programs of the Fisheries and Aquaculture Development Board (FADB).

Hog farmers to receive 2009 targeted advance payments

FREDERICTON (CNB) - Hog farmers in the province will have early access to additional 2009 AgriStability funding. The federal and provincial governments will advance up to 75 per cent of estimated 2009 payments, meaning that an additional $1.2 million in assistance is being made available to the industry.
