FREDERICTON (GNB) – The public consultation process on the review of the Official Languages Act has been extended until Sept. 30.

New Brunswickers who want to take part in the process and make suggestions about the act may do so online by answering four questions or by sending their written comments to: Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick, P.O. Box 6000, Fredericton, N.B., E3B 5H1.

Members of the Select Committee on the Revision of the Official Languages Act will continue to meet with designated groups, as well as with groups or individuals who submit briefs, to hold discussions and share ideas.

Public input will be studied and taken into consideration by the Select Committee of the legislature, which is mandated to make recommendations to government.
