Government funds improved intervention for victims of sexual violence
The provincial government has contributed $200,000 dollars to the Fredericton Sexual Assault Crisis Centre for the second consecutive year. The provincial government’s contribution totals $600,000 over three years. The fund is intended for ongoing provincially-co-ordinated implementation of intervention for victims of sexual assault, allocated under a long-term partnership between the Women’s Equality Branch and the centre with a view to improving assistance for victims of sexual violence.
