FREDERICTON (GNB) – The fourth annual Innovation Week will take place in the province from April 29 to May 5 this year.

“Your government believes in the importance of innovation,” said Premier Brian Gallant, who is also the minister responsible for innovation. “We recognize that being more innovative and efficient is essential to advancing the priorities that matter most to New Brunswickers, such as economic development, education and health care.”

The events and activities planned for Innovation Week 2018 will focus on celebrating the culture of innovation in New Brunswick, including the 20th annual KIRA Awards in Fredericton on May 3, the Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge Gala in Moncton on May 3 and the French edition of the NouLAB Social Innovation Academy from April 30 to May 4 in Moncton.

Gallant will participate in several events across the province during the week to celebrate innovation and innovative New Brunswickers.
