The objective is to help the New Brunswick seafood sector to be innovative, competitive, market-diversified and sustainable on a global scale. This is achieved by gaining market opportunities for new and diverse products.
The Department works closely with the industry to address challenges and opportunities in processing development, promotion and technology application. The Department also provides strategic advice and assistance in the form of market intelligence information, trade show support, planning of economic missions, and programming of targeted promotional events and materials.
