Eligibility

Anyone wanting to research court cases in New Brunswick. Civil, Probate and Small Claims case files in New Brunswick courts can be viewed by the public unless the case has been sealed by order of the court. Family cases and criminal cases are not available through the website, but judgments for civil cases, small claims and probate records can all be accessed.

Description

The online transaction section provides a link to the site. Enter a name or case type to get a list of cases that might be of interest. Visit the appropriate court and ask to see the appropriate case file. While the new system provides basic information on more cases and case types, to see details of a case, one must still visit the relevant courthouse.

The website's archives go back to 2000, but as it is further developed, records from previous years will be entered. New cases are available within seconds of being added to the system.
