Day Adventure Angling Licence
Natural Resources and Energy Development
Overview
Day Adventure angling licences are available to residents and non-residents of New Brunswick.
Eligibility
To obtain a Day Adventure licence, residents or non-residents must be participating in the Experience Collection Program purchased from an Experience Collection operator or an outfitter.
Description
Angling licences provide angling opportunities to New Brunswick anglers while managing fish populations for future use.
Day Adventure angling licences are made available through Experience Collection operators or outfitters who provide a day adventure fishing package. Depending on the operator, day adventure fishing packages may be provided during the winter ice fishing season or during the general (summer) angling season.
During the general (summer) angling season, the licence holder and any immediate members of his or her family under sixteen years of age are authorized to angle for any fish, including Atlantic Salmon, for one full calendar day. No salmon tags are issued with this licence and all Atlantic Salmon must be released.
The live release limit for Atlantic Salmon is two per day and this bag limit must be shared if more than one person is angling under the same licence.
