FREDERICTON (GNB) – NB Liquor announced today that they are awarding a tender to FiveFive Queen Development to build the first “Expérience by ANBL” boutique store in the province. It will be located at 55 Queen St. in downtown Moncton.

Greater Moncton was chosen for the flagship specialty wine store because the region has the highest wine sales in the province. The store will be aimed at wine enthusiasts and will feature a variety of unique products not seen in other stores.

“FiveFive is the perfect place for our first-ever Expérience by ANBL boutique store,” said Brian Harriman, president and CEO of NB Liquor. “Not only is the actual location in downtown Moncton ideal, but FiveFive emulates the luxurious urban lifestyle that goes hand-in-hand with our vision for our boutique store.”

In addition to a large wine selection, the store will also feature specialty spirits. The layout, which will be about 450 square metres (5,000 square feet) with about 315 square metres (3,500  square feet) of retail space, will also include a tasting room where exclusive events will be hosted.

“From the beginning, our vision was for FiveFive to be a standout development for Greater Moncton. Not only will it be a place our condo owners will be proud to call home but also a major asset to the community,” said Bill Hennessey, director of FiveFive Queen Developments Inc. “This NB Liquor specialty store helps us achieve this goal. Their commitment to excellence is in perfect alignment with our brand and goals for the property.”
