Women in Leadership
“The blend of expert content and opportunity to share and learn with the workshop facilitator and other participants was energizing and honest. I left feeling excited to serve, more confident in my ability to speak up at the board table, and very grateful to have participated.”

Board membership is proving to be an excellent training ground to gain the hands-on experience required for many decision-making positions. Women can transfer and apply many skills learned from board service to their work life. Enabling them to develop their leadership potential.
The following workshops offer participants information on boards and how they function, along with practical tools such as: chairing meetings, effective decision-making techniques, conflict resolution, risk management, and finding the right board opportunity for you.
Participants have indicated the workshop is valuable regardless of board knowledge. The workshop is designed to engage women new to boards, as well as those with past experience and desire to be more effective in their current roles.
