The governments of New Brunswick and Louisiana have recognized the need to facilitate and support the promotion of culture, heritage and tourism in their respective regions. The Louisiana-New Brunswick Cultural Initiative focuses on initiatives to promote cultural, artistic and heritage linkages; share best practices in the creative field, heritage venues and museum spaces that could foster new partnerships and cross-border activities; and identify professional development needs in the heritage and cultural sectors in both regions in collaboration with educational institutions.
