The Office of Support Enforcement (OSE) is a program within the New Brunswick Department of Justice. Our goal is to maintain a steady flow of child and spousal support payments to families and children. Every year in New Brunswick, we collect more than $55 million in support.

What We Do
The OSE is responsible for monitoring and enforcing support orders and agreements that are filed with us. This means we:
- receive payments from the Payer (the person paying the support);
- keep records of payments that are made;
- forward payments to the Recipient (the person receiving the support);
- take steps when necessary to ensure the Payer makes the required payments.
