If you have already applied for Medicare, DO NOT submit another application by paper or online.

Once your application and documentation has been received by Medicare, please allow 4 to 6 weeks for processing.

If you have not received correspondence after 8 weeks, please contact Service New Brunswick Teleservices at 1-888-762-8600.

If you are visiting New Brunswick, you are encouraged to purchase private emergency medical insurance for travelers.

Please note that New Brunswick residents are required to notify Medicare of any changes to their personal information, their status in Canada, their address, etc. Failure to do so may result in termination of Medicare coverage.  Medicare has the right to terminate coverage or adjust an expiry date at any time.
