The status column will be updated as the competition progresses through the various stages, including:
- Competition Closed (no longer accepting applications)
- Interviews in Progress
- Position Filled
The status updates provide job applicants with the most up to date information possible.
Occasionally, a department will be required to cancel a competition. If this occurs, the status will change to:
- Competition Cancelled
All screened-in candidates (except those who have withdrawn from the competition) will be notified if the competition is cancelled. Since no appointment was made, the complaint process does not apply in these situations.
