Phase III - The Final Forum
- The Final Forum was held on November 12 and 13, 2009.
- The 50 participants of the Final Forum on Poverty agreed to adopt the first-ever poverty reduction plan for the province.
- Called “Overcoming Poverty Together: The New Brunswick Social and Economic Inclusion Plan,” the Forum agreed to a massive overhaul of the social assistance system, the introduction of a prescription drug plan for all uninsured citizens by 2012 and an increase in the minimum wage to the Atlantic average by the Fall of 2011
