Every successful moose hunter must have their moose registered, and be issued a registration permit.

The moose may be left at a cold storage facility or butcher for up to 15 days if a copy of the registration permit is left with the carcass.

Harvested moose must be registered no later than 12 o’clock noon on the day immediately following the closing of the moose season.

 

There are two options to register a moose:

1. Moose Registration Station

Hours: Tuesday to Saturday 8 a.m. – 9 p.m.
           Sunday 8 a.m. – noon.

Please Note: In 2021, moose registration for the Sussex DNRED office will take place at the following location:
