Antlered deer only.

Licence is valid only for those Wildlife Management Zones having an open deer season.

Migratory game bird hunters must possess a provincial Non-Resident Deer and Game Bird Licence as well as a federal Migratory Game Bird Hunting Permit.

1 Licence cost includes conservation fees collected for the New Brunswick Wildlife Trust Fund. Tax is not included.

 

How to obtain a licence
A licence may be purchased online through the Fish and Wildlife Licensing System or at any authorized vendor or Service New Brunswick location. An Outdoors Card number is required to purchase a hunting licence and requires a one-time registration during the licence purchase process.

A Migratory Game Bird Permit may be purchased online, at a Canada Post outlet, or through an independent vendor. For additional information, refer to the Canada Environment and Natural Resources site.
 

Young hunters
Hunters 12 to 15 years of age must be accompanied by an adult while hunting.

Hunters 16 to 17 years of age must be accompanied by an adult when using a centre-fire or rim-fire rifle .23 calibre or larger, or with a shotgun with ball, slug, or lead shot larger than BB or steel shot larger than type F.
