Every successful moose hunter must have their moose registered, and be issued a registration permit.

The moose may be left at a cold storage facility or butcher for up to 15 days if a copy of the registration permit is left with the carcass.

 

There are two options to register a moose:

1. Moose Registration Station

Hours: Tuesday to Saturday 8 a.m. – 9 p.m.
           Sunday 8 a.m. – noon.

Please Note: Moose registration for the Sussex DNRED office will take place at the following location:

Picadilly, NB
 

Moose Registration Stations

Please note: In 2022, moose will not be registered at the Saint Joseph Fire Department.  Instead, moose may be registered at the following location:
