The Headway deposit occurs less than 3.4 km from the Brunswick #12 mine in a thrust repeat

of the same stratigraphic succession. Both deposits are associated with iron-formation and both

are included in the felsic siliciclastic class of VMS deposits. In 2018, Calinex Mines Inc. acquired

the Headway deposit for its untested potential; however, no work was reported even though iron

formation of the Brunswick Mines (Austin Brook member) occurs on the property.  In addition,

the project area contains a large magnetic anomaly that parallels a magnetic anomaly at the

Brunswick #12 mine. This could be a fold repeated equivalent opening the possibility of the

favourable Brunswick horizon occurring at depth.
