Gold Mine Gully was an active silver and gold mine in the late 1800’s. A high-grade silver bearing vein that also contained 0.5 oz/ton gold was mined (photo 2 of high-grade vein). No drilling has ever been performed on the property to determine depth or size of the mineralization. During 2016, multiple new veins (photos 4 & 5), like the original 1800’s vein, were discovered that represent infilled fractures crosscutting narrow NE-trending belts of Neoproterozoic Coldbrook Group mafic and felsic units. The degrees of mineralization in these new veins varies and they are being identified throughout a 3+km zone, which significantly expands the potential size of the underlying deposit. The best assay values to date are: 222 g/t Ag, 3.5% Cu, and 13.7%.
