Description:
As the council for Campobello Island can no longer achieve quorum, the Rural Community is now subject to Part V of the Control of Municipalities Act and a supervisor has been appointed.
The supervisor will remain in place until the council seats are filled by way of an election or by-election, the newly elected members take the oath of office and the rural community of Campobello Island is no longer subject to Part V of the Control of Municipalities Act.
