In 2012, the Canadian Council of Ministers of Environment (CCME) introduced an “Air Quality Management System” for Canada. The AQMS provides a common approach for all Canadian jurisdictions to measure, manage, and report on air quality. New Brunswick’s participation in the AQMS is reflected in the information provided in the Province’s annual air quality monitoring results reporting.
