Offices of the Department of Agriculture Aquaculture and Fisheries remain closed to the public until further notice due to concerns surrounding COVID-19. However, staff are at work and are available via email or telephone.

Dairy, beef, swine, poultry, sheep, goat, fox, mink and alternative livestock producers and horse owners are eligible for services. Services are also available to zoos, wildlife parks, and animal welfare enforcement agencies.

 

Veterinary Field Services


Fee schedule for on-site  clinical, preventive, medical, surgical, therapeutic and emergency services on a 365 day/24 hours basis.

Please note: Veterinary field service, pharmacy and laboratory services are available Monday to Friday, from 8:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with appropriate pre-screening and safety protocols, by contacting your regional office to make an appointment as follows:

For emergency or after hour veterinarian services, please call: 1-888-622-4742.

Each call will be triaged by a veterinarian and dealt with by phone if possible. If a field visit is required, safety protocols are in place and will be followed to protect veterinarians and clients. Regional offices can be reached for payments or pharmacy services by appointment only while offices remain closed to the public. Laboratory submissions will be received and processed as usual.
