The 2025 New Brunswick Skilled Worker stream has changed from previous years and is now comprised of 3 separate pathways:

The New Brunswick Strategic Initiative stream has sufficient inventory for 2025 and will not be accepting new Expressions of Interest (EOIs) at this time. You are invited to return to the Strategic Initiative stream page later this year for information and updates.
Please note: The “In-Person Exploratory Visit to New Brunswick” connection under the New Brunswick Strategic Initiative stream was paused in November 2024 and is not returning for 2025

Immigration New Brunswick reviews submitted EOIs and issues invitations to apply (ITAs) only to selected individuals through scheduled draws.
Before submitting an EOI, carefully review the updated eligibility criteria and NOC restrictions for your chosen pathway.
Only submit an EOI if you meet all eligibility requirements for your selected pathway.

Archived on April 4, 2025Immigration New Brunswick has been adjusting its 2025 provincial economic immigration programs and pathways in view of overall changes to Canada’s immigration system. These adjustments ensure that our programs are correctly oriented to best address critical provincial workforce needs and priorities.
Beginning Wednesday, February 5, 2025, we will begin to reopen provincial immigration pathways in a controlled manner. Please consult individual immigration program pages for details specific to each program’s reopening and to any 2025 stream or program changes.
Archived on January 7, 2026 News ReleaseEffective April 4, 2025, the Atlantic Immigration Program is paused for the remainder of the year, as our full allocation for 2025 for this program has been reached.
This pause affects the acceptance of new endorsement applications, as well as new invitations to employers to become designated employers under the AIP.
Full applications submitted on or before April 4, 2025, will continue to be processed.
Applications submitted after this date will be closed.

The Private Career College Graduate Pilot is a 3-year pilot that launched in September 2022. Once the pilot closes, no new nominations will be issued.
The pilot will remain open in a limited capacity through to the end of 2025. Please consult the program guide for details.
Students who do not qualify for the Pilot or who will graduate after the pilot closure date are encouraged to review other New Brunswick provincial immigration programs and streams. Graduates with qualifying work experience and job offer from a New Brunswick employer may be eligible to apply when they complete their studies.
