The New Brunswick Strategic Initiative is intended for skilled foreign nationals who have the following connections to New Brunswick:
Francophone workers in New Brunswick
You are working in a permanent, full-time, and non-seasonal (year-round) position for an eligible New Brunswick employer, or have accepted an offer for such a job, and meet one of the following conditions:
- you have been living in New Brunswick for at least 6 months
- you received a job offer through a recruitment mission led by the Government of New Brunswick
New Brunswick Francophone priorities
You meet one of the following conditions:
- you are living in New Brunswick and completed an program of study of at least 1-year long at the Université de Moncton or Collège communautaire du Nouveau-Brunswick (CCNB)
- you must have been physically present in the province for the entire duration of your program
- you received a letter of interest from Immigration New Brunswick
Francophones working remotely in New Brunswick
You have been living in New Brunswick for 12 months and have been working remotely for a Canadian employer located outside of Quebec during this entire period.
