COVID-19 vaccines

The more people who are immunized against COVID-19, the harder it is for the virus to spread.  We strongly recommend to stay up-to-date with the COVID vaccines recommended to you. Do your part and get vaccinated.

How to book a COVID-19 vaccine appointment

  • To book a COVID or influenza vaccine for children 6 months to 5 years, please go to the scheduler. If no appointments in the scheduler, call your local Public health office at the following numbers: Public Health Clinics (gnb.ca)

  • To book a COVID or influenza vaccine for children 5 to 11 years, please go to the scheduler. If no appointments in the scheduler, call your local pharmacy first and if no appointments contact your local Public health office at the following numbers: Public Health Clinics (gnb.ca)

  • To book a COVID or influenza vaccine for people 12 years and older, please go to the scheduler. If no appointments in the scheduler, call your local pharmacy.
If you are between the ages of 12 to 15, and your consent is filled out by your parent or legal guardian, you can schedule an appointment yourself. If you are aged 16 or older, you can book an appointment yourself, at a participating pharmacy. For more information on Mature Minor consent for COVID-19 vaccinations, contact your healthcare provider, local pharmacy or Public Health office.

At a pharmacy

The pharmacy appointment link below lists all participating pharmacies by zone. Each pharmacy has a list of the vaccines that are currently offering at that location. A limited amount of the Novavax Nuvaxovid COVID-19 vaccine is available at participating pharmacies. If there are no clinics in your zone, please contact Tele-Services at 1-833-437-1424 or email VNB@gnb.ca

Some locations around the province will continue to offer immunizations at Public Health clinics instead of pharmacies.
These clinics are also available for those aged 6 months to 5 and 5-11 year olds. The clinic appointment link below lists all clinics by zone and includes the vaccines available at each location.

Stay Up to Date With Your COVID-19 Vaccines

New-Brunswick Public Health continues to recommend that all those aged 6 months and over stay up to date with their COVID-19 vaccination. This means completing your primary series and getting the most recent booster offered as circulating variants of the SARS-Cov-2 virus continues in Canada and in other parts of the world.

Vaccines work with your immune system so your body will be ready to fight the virus if you are exposed. Vaccination is one of the most effective ways to protect our families, communities and ourselves against severe illness, hospitalization, Post COVID-19 Condition or death from COVID-19.

Hybrid immunity means you have received both vaccination and infection, creating an extra layer of protection. But this protection goes away over time. That’s why keeping up with your vaccinations is important. After your primary series, booster doses help “boost” your immune response and extend your protection against the SARS-Cov-2 virus.

Unvaccinated people are at much higher risk. Anyone choosing to delay their COVID-19 vaccinations should carefully consider their individual risks.

To learn more about the vaccines, review Public Health New-Brunswick’s COVID-19 Vaccine Information Sheet .
