The Provincial Integrated Support Committee (PISC) was established to provide equitable access to specialized supports and services for children, youth, and adults in New Brunswick. Their work involves reviewing individualized Interdepartmental Care Plans submitted by regional teams and to provide guidance and financial support in accordance with the Provincial Integrated Support Committee’s mandate. The PISC is accessible through all GNB programs when funding is required to support an individual’s care plan.
The PISC is made up of English and French-speaking staff from government departments that represent children, youth, and adults, including Education and Early Childhood Development, Health, Justice and Public Safety, Post-Secondary Education, Training and Labour, and Social Development. It also includes supporting staff, such as a Coordinator and Clinical Consultants.
