    Any person who acts as a damage appraiser by offering, promising or attempting to act as a damage appraiser or who claims in any manner to be authorized to act in that capacity must have a valid license.


    Applicants must have a minimum of two years' experience in automobile repair and automobile body work. Other experience and qualifications shown to be equivalent may be taken into consideration (see the Damage Appraiser Regulation - Insurance Act (regulation 85-11 for more information.)

    Unless otherwise specified, Fees exclude the harmonized sales tax (HST).

    A fee of $25.00 shall be submitted with an application or a renewal. Licenses expire on September 30th each year.
