Crown Lands - Permit for Wreath Tips and Branch Material

Overview
This program is to provide the public with access to wreath tips from Crown Land. Harvesting the tips of balsam fir provide the producers the material for making Christmas wreaths and other Christmas decorations.
Eligibility
Members of the general public may purchase a permit at a Department of Natural Resources office. The permit may be issued to an individual or a family unit.
Description
A permit is required by all individuals harvesting, removing, transporting or are in possession of Crown Land greenery/tips.
Balsam fir tips are essential to the production of New Brunswick made wreathes and other Christmas decorations.
An individual or family unit can purchase a tipping permit.
