Advancing Agriculture Through Season Extension and On-Farm Storage Technologies
This Program will assist New Brunswick fruit and mixed vegetable farms to become more profitable by capturing markets through the purchase of season extension and on-farm storage technologies. These technologies will allow NB producers to extend their production and marketing season. Deadline for application submission is December 1, 2016.
• The applicants must be New Brunswick fruit and/or mixed vegetable growers who wish to extend their production and marketing season through the purchase of season extension and on-farm storage technologies.
• The applicants’ production activities are carried out within the province of New Brunswick.
• The applicants must be 19 years of age or over.
The Advancing Agriculture Through Season Extension and On-Farm Storage Technologies Program will provide assistance to fruit and mixed vegetable growers who want to purchase season extension technologies (i.e. heated, unheated greenhouses, high tunnels or low tunnels) and pre-cooling, freezing and on-farm storage (post-harvest) technologies.
