    The Certification Unit manages a variety of types of testing, both internal and external. Examinations may be provincial, industry-driven, national or from the private sector and are available in both official languages. Successful completion is measured by way of a standardized exam administered by this Unit. Certification is provided for the following:

    Life License Qualification Program (LLQP)
    Fundamentals of Insurance
    Pesticide Applicators
    Sign Service Installation Technician (SSIT)

    Eligibility

    To be eligible to write one of these exams, you must:

    - have the approval of the sponsoring agency;
    - fill in the appropriate registration form;
    - submit the appropriate fees.

    Description

    Individuals wishing to write one of these exams, must register with the Department and submit the appropriate fees. Exams fees, passmarks and the writing time allowed for each of these exams varies; therefore, it is important that candidates communicate with the sponsoring agency prior to registration.
