A total of 50 to 215 mm of rain fell throughout the day and evening of September 30, 2015 in the Northeast – Southern parts of the province. Officials report multiple road closures, washouts and bridges compromised. Localized flash flooding occurred in 72 communities, with some residences requiring evacuation. The Department of Transportation and Infrastructure reports roads and bridges damaged by significant wash-over, washouts or damages to driveway entrances and culverts. 

Homeowners, small businesses and not-for-profit organizations have until September 30, 2019 to apply.
