MIRAMICHI (GNB) – The Centennial Bridge in Miramichi is undergoing a major upgrade which will affect traffic during the summer construction season.

Planned closures are as follows:

●    the southbound ramp from Church Street to Route 11 will be closed for four weeks starting July 23;

●    there will be full closures of the bridge at night, Sunday to Thursday, for three weeks starting July 30 from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m.; and

●    single-lane closures will take place on the south end of the bridge for three weeks, starting July 31.

A signed detour route will be in place for bridge closures. No closures will take place on the bridge during the Miramichi Irish Festival.
